Are your double opt-in confirmation emails being filtered?

If your subscriber lists are double opt-in, what’s your confirmation rate?

In other words, of those who sign up for your newsletters or emails, what percentage go on to confirm their subscription when you send them a confirmation email?

Perhaps that percentage is disappointingly low.

And maybe you scratch your head and wonder why so many people show enough interest to sign up, but then don’t both to just click Reply and Send to confirm their subscription.

One of the culprits may be your confirmation email itself.

Perhaps it is being filtered somewhere between your email delivery service provider and the final recipient.

So here’s a question for you: when did you last look at the text of your confirmation email?

Probably a long time ago. It’s one of those automated emails which, once you have set it up, you never get to see.

My advice is that you take another look at it.

And run it through this free spam checker to make sure you aren’t being filtered.

Because if your confirmation email doesn’t get through, there’s no way your subscriber will be able to reply and get on your list.
