Debbie Weil's introduction to business blogging is well worth reading, and free when you sign up for her newsletter.
It's a brief and useful introduction for those who are about to start a business blog, and for those who have been blogging for a while, but have lost track of what they first set out to achieve, and why.
One heading in particular caught my attention:
"To Blog is to write for the web"
A good point. She goes on to talk about making the text simple to scan, plus some other readability tips.
But the subhead caught my attention for a different reason. I found myself thinking about the message if you reversed it.
"To write for the web is to blog."
Now there's something worth thinking about...
